JEANNETTE WALLS

This books powerful message has resulted in numerous awards and has been a New York Times best-seller for more than three years.

Ann Compton is now covering a seventh president for ABC News in a career that has taken her through a generation of presidential campaigns. She became the first female reporter for the White House, she traveled the world in the company of six presidents. She’s balanced her professional obligations with those of her own “first” family and still says her most valued award was being named Mother of the Year in 1988.

 

ISABELLA ROSSELLINI

Moving easily from early forays into comedy, television reporting, modeling, to roles in movies, and stage productions, Isabella Rossellini turned her eye to film making. Her debut was her mischievous and witty film, "My Dad is 100 Years Old. Also a wildlife activist and trainer of Labrador puppies for the blind, Rossellini always finds time to gather a group and give lectures all over the US, Europe and Canada.

Della Reese is a name that is synonymous with entertainment par excellence. Her singing style on romantic ballads or hard-driving songs utilizes her unique blend of jazz-blues-gospel textures and phrases and makes for a sound that is unmistakable Della Reese. Ms. Reese's singing captivated audiences from clubs to stages and led to her first exposure on television, where she appeared on all the musical variety shows. Her most recent has been as co-star in the CBS dramatic series "Touched By an Angel."
 

SIGOURNEY WEAVER

Wednesday, May 18, 2011 • 7:30 p.m.

Academy Award nominated actress Sigourney Weaver created a host of memorable characters, both dramatic and comic. Over the years, she’s captivated audiences as one of the most esteemed actresses on both stage and screen. Weaver made her motion picture debut in Ridley Scott’s blockbuster Alien.  She later reprised the role of Warrant Officer Ripley in James Cameron’s Aliens, which earned her Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress. 

Please note: only children age 5 and over with tickets will be allowed into the theater for this production.
