Educational Opportunities
Education programs at the Civic Center are created to enhance enjoyment of the theatre-going experience by providing educational and artistic access for all ages.
The performing arts are both a powerful tool to enhance educational goals and an essential component of a complete education for youth. The arts teach discipline, improve self-esteem, inspire creativity, build critical thinking skills, improve standardized test scores, enhance communication skills and help young people set and reach goals.
