Member Relations Coordinator Position Description
The Civic Center of Greater Des Moines seeks a customer service and administrative professional to serve in the role of Member Relations Coordinator.
The Member Relations Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to assist in the retention of Civic Center Patron ($1,250+) and Corporate Circle ($2,000+) Members. The position serves as the primary contact for these Members, assisting them with ticket purchases and other needs. Responsible for the management of the Patron Circle Lounge, the Coordinator also assists in staffing this space and greeting donors at Civic Center events. The position supports the implementation of campaign strategy for the general membership program ($75 - $1,249) as well as Development-related events. Finally, the position provides administrative support to the Director of Development and Development Committee.
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with strong customer relations and communication skills as well as an ability to work with a wide range of donors and donor needs. Database and computer experience is required. Arts background is preferred and desirable. Some evening and weekend work required.
Starting salary mid to high $30,000’s, commensurate with experience.
